Hi guys! My name is Zoe and I am an Education student at the University of Victoria and this ePortfolio is dedicated to my journey to becoming an educator.
Something to note about me is I am a HUGE animal lover. All animals, except birds who I am a little afraid of but still love (from a distance), are incredible and have a huge part on this planet. As a future educator, I will strive to make sure all my students understand how important it is to be kind to everything in nature.
Outdoor education is also a huge passion of mine and I am excited to part take in all types of outdoor learning include learning about nature, learning in nature, and learning for nature. I believe that children should get outside all year round no matter the weather so that they can learn how to appreciate the Earth in all its glory. As for myself, my favourite weather is rain so I will be right there with my students in the mud!
